Guerlain Abeille Royale
From the Hive to the Bee Lab
In search of nature's most powerful honeys, Guerlain traveled to Ouessant Island, an UNESCO biosphere reserve off the coast of Brittany, France. Home to the unique Ouessant Black Bee, this preserved ecosystem produces the ultra-pure honey central to the Abeille Royale collection.
For the launch of a new range in the collection, we designed an immersive journey, "From the Hive to the Bee Lab," which traces the creation of the products.
We designed a capsule laboratory, set in the heart of Ouessant, a natural haven, to explore the product creation process through workshops led by Guerlain experts.
Guests are immersed in a giant hive to discover the unique qualities and specificities of the honey.
The experience culminates in a 360-degree video mapping installation, offering an immersive journey on Ouessant Island, allowing guests to live the journey of the beekeeper.
